Admissions Process
We’re excited to welcome you! Our admissions process reflects our commitment to diversity, community, equity, and—most importantly—PLAY.
Application Timeline
Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are now open! Our school year runs from September to June. The priority application window runs through February 22. Applications submitted before this date are considered in the initial placement period.
To inquire about immediate openings for the 2024-2025 school year, please email director@oneontacoop.com. We accept waitlist applications on a rolling basis through March.
How to Apply
Step 1: Tour – Fill out the tour request form at the bottom of this page.
Step 2: Apply – After touring or attending Open House, submit an application using the button below.
A non-refundable $87 application fee is required to process your application billed via Jovial. For billing questions, email oneonta.treasury@gmail.com.
Step 3: Play Date – Families who apply by 2/22 will be invited to a Play Date (held February/March) as part of our enrollment process. Play Dates are not guaranteed after this date, but instead will be offered on an as-available basis pending openings.
Step 4: Notification – Placement and waitlist notifications are sent by late March/early April. Applications received after the priority deadline go directly to the waitlist and will be contacted for a Play Date if/when there is an anticipated opening.
Little Explorers Applicants:
As this is a caregiver and me program, admission operates differently than our core classes. We do not utilize play dates for Little Explorers and will fill spots on a rolling basis if any become available. A non-refundable $32 fee must be submitted to secure enrollment or be placed on the waitlist if there is no current availability. The Little Explorers application can be found at the link above, as well.
